When your wings unfurl...

Updated: Jul 9, 2021

So I want to express how I am feeling right now. You know those chapters in your life that you really change as a person. I feel like I'm really stepping into my new transition in life and it is because I am open to change.

I am open to learning new things from having new friends and old friends that continue to grow & teach me by just being themselves, as well as new books and new information from podcasts and conversation. I am so thankful for this. From new connections and experiences I continue to grow. Right now I feel so open to the world and so nurtured by those in my life. I feel so much gratitude for where I am and proud to be able to get through times of stress and doubt in my mind.

It is incredible how books can shape your life, other people's writings... I credit 'Daring Greatly' by Brené Brown for guiding & teaching me last year. I finally feel like I'm putting true vulnerability into practice and it is creating space for me to feel and to explore the uncomfortable with those important in my life. It creates change and awareness and ultimately reflection and positive outcomes for everyone involved. Sitting in the uncomfortable is important... Fucking hard too. That shadow people talk about - it is essential and I am finding more and more why it is so necessary for understanding and healing. Now I'm delving into 'The Artist's Way' by Julia Cameron & am already excited & bewildered by the first Activity I have to partake in.

Thank you if you read this and I hope you have a beautiful day. That you give thanks for your breathe and for the sun rising, with curiosity and excitement for what lies ahead... Natalie,
