Paint & Pour with Destiny Forrest

Join Destiny Forrest for a live virtual paint & pour party.

Just because live events are off-limits right now doesn’t mean having fun and making art has to

be!

Destiny will guide you through one of her incredible paint & pour classes that is guaranteed to get your creative juices

flowing. She will take all the stress out of creating your own wall worthy artwork - all you need is an 'I can' attitude.

During this class you will learn the basics of acrylic painting by exploring elements of blending, contrast, impressionism and dimension while replicating an old master and personal favourite of Destiny's, Claude Monet’s ‘Water Lillie’ studies.

Claude Monet spent most of his life painting his water lilies but we will create our own dreamy ‘water landscape’ (as Monet called his paintings) in just three fun hours.

So, grab those brushes and bottles and join in for some creative, fun painting the Monet lily pad

pond of your dreams.

This class is a beginner friendly so no experience is needed, We promise. 

During this 3-hr guided class you will experience mixing up your very own dreamy Monet pallet where you will have

plenty of time to try different techniques and styles while creating your very own Monet master piece.

Acrylic Paint & canvas is encouraged but the workshop will facilitate for whatever materials you have.

You are welcome to just use coloured pencils & paper for example, and this will create a varied outcome.

Destiny also has a pre-made Art Box option available for purchase. (Option in the ticketing)

Carefully put together this box takes all the hassle out of gathering materials for your own work.

Please note you do not need a professional kit for this class. 

If you have paper & watercolours or pastels or just see what’s laying around you can definitely join in and still create your own unique pieces!

Gather your equipment:

> Access to zoom.

> A blank Canvas

> Easel (optional).

> Acrylic paints: red, blue, yellow, Green white

> A range of paint brushes at least a small, medium & large.

> Paint pallet or something to mix on

> Water cup to clean your brushes.

> Paper towel clean up any spills.

> Apron or old t-shirt to avoid damage your clothes.

> Beverages (most importantly) because art always goes better with wine or chai.
